2018
09/11/2018 . International Public Tender Launch
According to his strategic vision, the Belgian Minister Mr. Steven Vandeput decided to replace the Belgian ROLE II field hospital that has been deployed in Lebanon during the UNIFIL mission from 2006 to 2009. After presenting the project to the Military Purchases & Sales Committe on October 24, 2018, the tender procedure was launched by the government on November 9, 2018.
2019
19/02/2019 . Sending The Application
UTILIS-G3S send its application to the Belgian Ministry of Defence.
07/07/2019 . Participation Authorization
UTILIS-G3S receives the authorization to participate; A call for tenders is being launched.
18/09/2019 . Initial Tender Proposal Handed Over
The consortium hands over the inital offer to the Ministry of Defence which begins the negocations rounds.
12/11/2019 . Final Tender Proposal Handed Over
After multiple months of negociations, UTILIS-G3S hands over its final tender proposal to the Belgian Ministry of Defence.
02/12/2019 . Acceptance Of Tender
The Franco-British consortium UTILIS-G3S wins the bid. The alliance of these two companies, one specialized in supplying tactical shelters in metallo textile structure and the other specialized in the integration and maintenance of high-end medical equipment, made them a winning competitor in the procurement process.
19/12/2019 . Standstill Period
The standstill period is a period of at least 16 days following the notification of an award decision. After respecting these 16 days, the Belgian Ministry of Defence sent a signed copy of the contract to UTILIS-G3S on December 19, 2019.
2020
09/01/2020 . Kick-off Meeting
The consortium UTILIS-G3S and the Belgian Ministry of Defense met officially in Brussels in order to begin the project. They discussed working and administrative procedures.
14/01/2020 . Belgian Ministry of Defence Announcement
The Belgian Ministry of Defence announces the acquisition of the ROLE II field hopsital.
23/01/2020 . Preliminary Design Review
On January 23, 2020, the Belgian Ministry of Defence visited UTILIS headquarters. During the Preliminary Design Review (PDR), they discussed about the field hospital infrastructure, indoor equipment, innovative techniques and products, and the overall schedule (supply dates, intermediary meetings, delivery dates, etc.)
