Certification Exercise at Nîmes-Garons BASC

UTILIS field hospital, unique in its kind

This week was the first ESCRIM certification exercise at BASC Nîmes-Garons. It took place in the presence of a WHO representative who can apply the EMT2 Certification (Emergency Medical Team level 2). The autonomous field hospital can be deployed anywhere in the world when a disaster occurs. The ESCRIM was deployed at the end of year 2017 in Guadeloupe due to fire at the Pointe-à-Pitre University Hospital. The hosptial can accomodate hundreds of patients a day under the same conditions as a regular hospital.
